3. Insurance Contract, Contract Language, Correction Options, and Storage of Contract
The customer is guided through the Online Application process, where Beakon Global provides access to information about a selected international health insurance product, including rates and conditions from the partner insurance company.
Beakon Global facilitates the conclusion of the insurance contract based on the customer’s selected international health insurance product. By clicking the “Conclude with obligation to pay” button, the customer agrees to enter into a binding contract with the insurance company. The insurance contract is formed exclusively between the customer and the insurance company, with the insurance company’s general terms, special insurance conditions, and tariff regulations governing the agreement. The insurance company alone reserves the right to accept or reject an insurance application.
The language available for concluding the contract is English.
Before submitting, the customer is responsible for verifying and correcting all required details, including personal information and the insurance period.
Upon conclusion of the contract, the customer will receive a confirmation email that includes the insurance policy, general terms and conditions, and the insurance company’s consumer information.
4. Payment, Prices, and Invoicing
Payment for the insurance product is facilitated through the insurance company directly. Beakon Global is not involved in the collection or processing of insurance premiums for this product.
All prices are provided in Euros, including applicable taxes.
5. No contradictory national laws
The customer warrants that they are entitled to take out international health insurance in compliance with the laws of their country of residence. Beakon Global does not assume responsibility for verifying the customer’s legal right to purchase this insurance or any implications of local legal requirements.
6. Tariffs of the insurance company
Beakon Global strives to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of information related to the travel insurance product offered. However, Beakon Global does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information provided and disclaims liability for any inaccuracies in insurance product details.
7. Cancellation Policy
The customer may have the right to cancel the insurance contract within a specified period as outlined in the terms and conditions provided by the insurance company. To determine eligibility and specific terms for cancellation, the customer should refer directly to the general and special insurance conditions provided by the insurance company.
8. Liability of Beakon Global as an Intermediary
Beakon Global has unlimited liability in the event of intent and gross negligence.
In the case of simple negligence, Beakon Global is only liable if it is a breach of a primary obligation or a secondary obligation, the breach of which jeopardises the achievement of the purpose of the contract or the fulfilment of which makes the proper execution of the contract possible in the first place and on the observance of which the customer could rely. In this case, Beakon Global’s liability is limited to the damage typical of the contract and foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded.
Insofar as the liability of Beakon Global is excluded or limited, this also applies to the personal liability of legal representatives, employees and vicarious agents of Beakon Global.
Any claims for damages arising from the breach of an obligation pursuant to § 60 or § 61 in conjunction with § 63 of the German Insurance Contract Act remain unaffected.
Waiver of advice regarding the conclusion of a contract
Due to statutory provisions, insurance intermediaries are also obliged to provide advice in direct sales and to document the advice before a contract is concluded. A comprehensive risk analysis or consideration of the customer’s individual situation cannot be undertaken by Beakon Global. Beakon Global only determines the insurance cover expressly requested. As the customer wishes to conclude his insurance contract conveniently and directly online, the customer waives the right to advice and its documentation in the context of the online conclusion dialog with the following declaration:
Customer waive the right to personal individual consultation and documentation for the conclusion of this contract. This may have a detrimental effect on the assertion of claims for damages.

The website may contain links to third-party websites, including those operated by the insurance company. Such links are provided for the customer’s convenience, and Beakon Global is not responsible for the content or practices of these third-party sites.

Beakon Global does not collect or process the customer’s personal data directly. All data required for the conclusion of the insurance contract is provided by the customer directly to the insurance company. Beakon Global’s involvement is limited to receiving notifications from the insurance company regarding the conclusion of contracts.
The customer agrees that Beakon Global may pass on the data collected, processed and stored to any legal successor of Beakon Global or a purchaser of the insurance portfolio.
